The band's first release was a 6-song EP through Swordfish Records, a small record label from Birmingham. This was issued on vinyl only. The band signed to Earache Records shortly after, and both Earache and Silent Scream recordings re-issued this recording in 1990. Earache's version contained 2 bonus tracks, from some unknown session and Silent Scream issued this without the bands consent and is a bootleg. In 1995, Earache re-issued this and a 2008 remaster came out on vinyl. A box set with two other albums came out in 2013 which featured the original grey-tone album cover and a pair of vinyl-only re-issues came out on separate labels even years later.

Notes
* Recorded June/July 1988 at Soundcheck.
* The original release on Swordfish Records was released on clear and black vinyl and has a slightly different cover. It is more of a grey toned picture, whereas the Earache re-releases are just plain black and white. Contains lyrics to Avalanche Master Song, Veins and Weak Flesh. Also contains pictures not included on the Earache Re-releases. Etched into side A is "Low life motherfuckers". Side B has "Music from the death factory "88"" etched into it.
* The cassette release on Silent Scream is the same as above, but also has a picture of a very young Justin and Benny. The Earache release doesn't contain all the pictures but has a new one, and doesn't have lyrics. This may possibly have been released on vinyl as well. This version also incorrectly lists track one as "Avalanche" and track two as "Master Song".
* Tracks 7 and 8 are bonus tracks on the cd from some later, unknown recording session.
* "Wounds" is a remixed version of "Wound" which is found on Streetcleaner.
* A video for "Avalanche Master Song" was made.
* This cd was re-released as Mosh 20CD on July 1st, 1995, with a white CD casing instead of traditional black case.
* Remastered and re-issued in 2008 as a limited vinyl pressing. 200 copies were issued on splatter and an unspecified amount on black vinyl. This pressing has Wounds included. This also included the original artwork (grey-toned cover).
* Released alongside Selfless and Us And Them as a 2013 triple-CD box set.
* Double-vinyl issued on the 21st of January, 2014 as a clear with glow-in-the-dark splatter release.

It was re-issued in 1994 and then remastered for a vinyl release in 2008. A digital remaster followed in 2010 containing a second disc of rehearsals, live cuts and demo material.

Notes
* Originally issued on the 13th of November, 1989, Streetcleaner is actually three recording sessions combined to make up the band's debut LP.
* Tracks 11-14 are bonus tracks on CD versions only and were recorded as the unreleased Tiny Tears EP. Due to pressure from Earache, the band shelved these temporarily until a complete album was recorded.
* Tracks 1-5 recorded at Soundcheck in Birmingham between May and August 1989. Tracks 6-10 were recorded at Square Dance in Derby (May 1989) and feature Paul Neville on guitars.
* Devastator/Mighty Trust Krusher was intended to be one track but was split on all pressings until the 2010 remaster.
* Streetcleaner was re-issued in 1994 on cassette and CD but featured inferior cover and back art. Second-generation photos were used.
* Issued on limited vinyl in 2008 through Kreation Records. This pressing excludes the song Locust Furnace though it is retained on the track listing. It therefore contains tracks 1-9 only. This was limited to 250 copies on orange splatter, 250 copies on clear orange and black as well as on black vinyl.
* Remastered and re-issued with a second disc in 2010. This ultimate release of Streetcleaner features the original mixes from tracks from the first side of the album (tracks 1-5), a pair of live songs from 1990, three rehearsal tracks from 1989 and demos from the Tiny Tears EP as well as expanded liner notes.
* Re-issued on vinyl on the 29th of January, 2016. This was limited to 1,000 copies, 500 on what's titled Streetcleaner clear and another 500 on Locust Furnace orange. This is based on the remastered version from 2010.

Notes
* Godflesh's last release before breaking up in 2002. This was issued on the 23rd of October, 2001.
* Track 13 is a six-minute-long song followed by a minute of silence and then a hidden, untitled track. Diarmuid Dalton is credited on this track.
* Re-issued in remastered form in 2013 on The End Records. This included a second disc of remastered (and in two cases, new mixes) demos. In addition, it includes the compilation song If I Could Only Be What You Want also in remastered form and expanded liner notes in a three-panel digipak.
* Vinyl issue from 2013 was a double-vinyl release but did not contain the second disc worth of material. The exception is If I Could Only Be What You Want which was appended. This would be the remastered version, though it is not labeled as such.
